Spaghetti Pie was always such a classic in my family that it stayed in my mom’s regular rotation of busy weeknight favorites. It’s fast and easy and takes spaghetti with meat sauce to a whole new level – both in flavor and presentation!

And here are a few more healthy tips: to make it lighter, you can easily substitute low-fat ground turkey for the ground beef and replace regular spaghetti with whole wheat or multi-grain spaghetti to up the fiber. Want to make it vegetarian? Substitute veggie crumbles for the ground beef.
If you’re looking for ways to make my Spaghetti Pie even faster and easier, consider making a few batches of the meat/veggie sauce ahead of time and freezing. Then pull a batch out of the freezer in the morning, stick it in the fridge, and it’ll be ready to go by that evening.
