Hosting holiday get-togethers can be joyful, especially when you discover those simple and delicious holiday hits that everyone loves! That’s why I’m so excited about my brand new Holiday Cookbook, featuring over 200 Taste of Home holiday recipes that are easy, elegant and customized to fit temp-tations ovenware
And to give you a taste of what I’ll be serving for the holidays, I’m sharing a couple of my new cookbook recipes with you here. Plus a few sneak peeks of fabulous new holiday sets that’ll be available on Black Friday, only at temp-tations.com!
First up is bubbly Broccoli Cheddar Spread, a delicious hot appetizer to serve with pita chips, crackers or crostini. A welcome change from the classic spinach dip, you won’t believe how fast and easy it is to make, and how much everyone will love it. And of course, you’ll want to serve it in these adorable Christmas Tree Stacking Bowls!
Next is a wonderful side dish that combines the best of fall fruits and vegetables! Sweet Potato Stuffed Apples are made special by the addition of brown sugar, maple syrup, butter, cinnamon and slivered almonds, and this recipe complements any holiday entree – from chicken to turkey to ham. (Hint: both Jonathan and Cortland apples are tart with a bit of sweetness and hold up well in the oven, making them good choices for baking!) And the Sleigh Set Baker in Poinsettia is the perfect way to bake and serve them at your holiday table.
And finally, a luscious condiment recipe that can be spread on warm dinner rolls, croissants, biscuits, sweet potatoes and more. Cranberry Honey Butter makes a great holiday gift from the kitchen and features dried cranberries, honey, and grated orange zest – yum! (In this version, I added cranberry sauce to the recipe to get this beautiful pink hue.) Shown served in a temp-tations ramekin nestled inside a new Sleigh Set Baker in Poinsettia! What a beautiful look for your holiday table.
Enjoy the recipes from my new Holiday Cookbook, be on the lookout for these new sets on Black Friday, and may your holidays be merry and bright!
