Halloween is all about having a good time and sharing sweet treats. It’s also a great time to bring out the Spice and Black temp-tations to set a table full of scary fun
Here are some ideas for how to put together a quick & easy Halloween party in no time flat.
• If you can bake and decorate your own cupcakes and cookies, then by all means go for it. But if you’re pressed for time, you can find great-looking, ready-made Halloween-themed baked treats at your local grocery or bakery. Serve on temp-tations, and they’ll look even better 😉
• Load up on wrapped candy to give to trick or treaters, and don’t forget the candy corn!
• To extend the black and orange theme, serve savory finger foods like blue tortilla chips (they look more black than blue), cheese crackers, sweet potato chips, black bean dip and queso dip.
• Another fun orange food: navel oranges or satsumas with pumpkin faces drawn on them!
And for a party-worthy punch, mix together apple cider and any orange-colored fruit juice or soda to taste, in a Spice colored temp-tations soup tureen (love the double duty here). I used apple cider with V8 Splash Tropical Blend, but any fruity combo will work! Then add a few thinly-sliced pieces of apple to float on top, and voila, you’ve got a great thirst quencher for all the little ghost and goblins.
Add a few well-chosen pumpkins to your halloween decor, and you’re ready for any trick or treaters!
