Maple Bacon-infused Syrup
- 1 pound bacon
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 cup water
- Place bacon in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook until crispy, about 10 minutes. Set on paper towels to drain.
- Carefully pour maple syrup and water in the pan with the bacon grease. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer until about 2 cups of liquid remain.
- Pour through a strainer into a bowl.
- Pour strained liquid into a small saucepan and return to a boil over high heat, whisking continuously for 3 - 4 minutes or until mixture thickens. Pour into your temp-tations® Mini Pitcher and refrigerate until cool. Serve with pancakes, waffles or French toast.
