Love this ice cream party idea! These Super-Fun Ice Cream Scoops are easy to make, fun to eat, and keep you from having to scoop ice cream in the middle of a summer party.
Get your muffin pans out, and get ready to have a ball! This is a kiddo-friendly recipe, so gather them around, too 😉 First, spray your muffin pans with non-stick cooking spray. Then place empty muffin pans in the freezer for about 15 minutes to chill. Remove muffin pans from freezer, and scoop balls of your favorite ice cream, dropping one-by-one into your trusty muffin cups. Insert a wooden craft spoon into each scoop of ice cream. Place muffin pans back in the freezer, and chill until ice cream has hardened.
Meanwhile, crush a variety of your favorite ice cream toppings, and fill another muffin pan with a different topping in each muffin cup. We used two kinds of sprinkles, crushed chocolate chip cookies, crushed vanilla wafers, crushed peanuts, and chopped mini peanut butter cups Yum.
Take muffin pans out of freezer and working quickly, dip and roll ice cream scoops into your choice of toppings. Then store muffin pans in freezer until ready to serve!
