Red Velvet Cheesecake Bars

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour


  • 16 ounces cream cheese, soft
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Place melted butter, sugar, cocoa, red food coloring, vanilla, vinegar and salt in a large mixing bowl. Blend until smooth. Add more food coloring if desired. Beat in eggs. 
  3. Stir in flour until batter is smooth. Spread batter into your 13" x 9" temp-tations® baker. For the topping, in a separate bowl beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Place spoonfuls of this mixture over the batter in your baker. 
  4. Use a butter knife to swirl the topping and batter together. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting.
