“There’s no place like home for the holidays,” sings Perry Como. For good reason! Home is the heart of all my favorite holiday memories. And that’s why I always try to add a little splash of home (and homemade) to all my holiday gifts. It really does make a difference when you add a personal touch…whether that’s your own personal style, or something you know your gift recipient will appreciate!
As we head into the holidays, I will be sharing some of my favorite ideas for adding a touch of homemade to your holidays. Starting with:
Customized Gift Baskets
I love using key temp-tations pieces – like this Heart-Shaped Sentiment Baker – as the base for a gift basket. It’s so easy to add personal touches for just about anyone on your list. Plus, temp-tations are so much more than just a pretty base. It becomes the heart of the gift itself!
Coffee or Cocoa Lover? Add two mugs, a pound of fresh-roasted beans, your own homemade biscotti. Instant, delicious coffee break! Or switch it up with some yummy homemade cocoa mix and fresh-baked cookies.
For the Hostess with the Mostest. Looking for an alternative to a bottle of wine? Stack a selection of cheeses on top of my Old World Cheese Board and tie it up with a decorative ribbon. Easy and always appreciated!
Best of all, to help make your gifting projects easier, I designed some FREE printable gift tags and cards, so that you can add a special temp-tations touch to all your holiday gifts this season.
What you’ll need: 8 ½ x 11 inch card stock, color printer, scissors, hole punch
Click on the links below to download these adorable temp-tations gift tags and cards. (Depending on your connection, some of the card files may take a minute or two to load.) Then print them on your home printer and add them to cookies, treats, gifts and more! You can even add your own favorite recipes on the back of the larger cards.
And be sure to check back throughout the week, as I share more ideas for easy homemade gifts for everyone on your list!
